Éxito rotundo de la 10ª Carrera Solidaria por la Infancia en Parc Vallès
This Sunday, 23 November, Parc Vallès became the centre of a day filled with energy, sport and community spirit during the 10th Solidarity Race for Children, organised by Esplai Guadalhorce.
From early morning, hundreds of participants —families, young people and experienced runners— filled the park in a festive atmosphere. The 5 km and 10 km races kicked off at 9:30 a.m., followed by the children’s circuits starting at 11:00 a.m., where the youngest participants ran with great enthusiasm.
The aim of the event was once again to fight child and youth poverty, with all funds raised going to the educational and social projects that Esplai Guadalhorce carries out in the neighbourhood: educational talks, summer camps, international exchanges and support programmes for children and teenagers.
The organisers highlighted the essential role of volunteers, whose dedication makes possible an initiative that has already become a key date in Terrassa’s solidarity and sports calendar. At Parc Vallès, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting actions that strengthen the local community and improve people’s lives.
Once again, this race shows that Terrassa is a vibrant, supportive and united city, and that sport can be a powerful tool for positive change.
