Parc Vallès supports the 14th edition of the Distrobada
A commitment for the inclusion in Terrassa
One more year the Distrobada has become the epicenter of inclusion in Terrassa. Specifically, the Muntanyeta of Vallparadís Park has been the scene that has hosted the set of recreational activities for all audiences that have been made throughout the morning. The objective has been to make visible to people with intellectual disabilities.
This year, the main demand by the Coordinator Capaç -event organizer- has focused on asking the municipal institutions for a new day center. It is a claim that has been claimed for 10 years and that has not yet been achieved. To this initiative have already joined up to one hundred entities.
Parc Vallès has returned to collaborate in this 14th edition of the Distrobada. All the participants have enjoyed a fun day thanks to the wide range of activities that have been carried out. Not forgetting the great chocolate event for five hundred people that has further sweetened the smiles of all attendees.
In spite of having experienced certain technical problems related to the power generation equipment in the early morning, the Distrobada has finally been a success. From Parc Vallès we are proud to give our support to initiatives like this one that foster a society that is committed to integration, respect and visibility.
